The Prime Minister Mutaz Musa presided over Wednesday at the General
Secretariat of the Council of Ministers the expanded meeting including
the Ministry of Oil, Gas and Minerals, the State Minister at Ministry of
Finance and Economic Planning Mustafa Hawley and the Governor of the
Central Bank of Sudan Mohamed Khair Al-Zubair as well as a number of
government officials. The meeting reviewed the plan of the Ministry of
Oil, Gas and Minerals on increasing the production of oil blocks during
the period (2019-2022) and the requirements of crude oil to cover the
need of refineries according to production scenarios. In this regard,
the meeting assured on the financial flows necessary to implement the
Ministry's plan in accordance with the set timetable. The meeting also
discussed the agreements with the different companies and their visions
to develop the fields and increase oil production.
